Nursery Teacher Training is a focused option for learners who want to work with children in the years before formal primary schooling. It is narrower than a broad international teaching diploma and more general than a method-specific Montessori programme.
Choose the level according to the responsibility you want to take on. A beginner may need a foundation in development, routines and activity planning, while an experienced educator may benefit more from the deeper planning and case-study work at Diploma or PG Diploma level.
The published entry requirements are Class 10 for the Certificate, Class 12 for the Diploma and a graduate qualification for the PG Diploma.
The published study periods are 6 months for the 120-hour Certificate, 10 months for the 200-hour Diploma and 12 months for the 240-hour PG Diploma.
The programme is designed around work with children aged approximately 2 to 5 years.
Assessment includes module MCQs. Diploma and PG Diploma learners also complete lesson plans, projects or case studies that are reviewed by tutors.
