Institutional Partnerships

Partner with London College of Teachers (UK)

Institutional partnerships should protect learners as well as expand access. London College of Teachers (UK) welcomes discussions with education organisations that can represent programmes accurately and support learners responsibly.

What a suitable partner can contribute

  • Established work in education, teacher development or training
  • Local knowledge of schools and educator needs
  • Appropriate facilities where classroom support is proposed
  • Professional handling of enquiries, documents and learner communication
  • Ability to follow approved brand, course and certification information
  • Commitment to safeguarding learner data and avoiding misleading claims

Accuracy matters

A partner should use the same course title, entry requirement, fee, assessment and certification language approved by LCT. Terms such as accredited, recognised, university, licence and government-approved should never be expanded beyond the evidence supplied by the institution or relevant third party.

Local marketing should also distinguish a professional-development course from any teacher licence, employment guarantee or immigration entitlement.

Learner and financial safeguards

Where a partner is authorised to assist with enrolment or payment, responsibilities should be defined in writing. Learners should know who receives payment, who provides the course, who issues the certificate and where formal complaints or administrative questions should be directed.

Course materials, logos and certificates should be used only within the permissions granted by the institution.

Starting a discussion

Organisations interested in partnership should provide their legal name, country, education experience, facilities if relevant, target learner group and proposed model. The LCT team can then determine whether the proposal fits current partnership plans.
